On August 3rd Thunder & Lightning promotions put on its latest event at the Clearwater River Casino. 16 Exciting fights in front of a sold out crowd.
In the Co-Main event we had a 205 pound title fight between Team Executions CJ Delgado vs Sik Jitsu's Austin Barnes. It was a fast paced fight ending at the end of round 1 by rear naked choke after some vicious ground and pound for the winner and new 205 pound champion Austin Barnes.
In the main event we had another title fight this one at 135 pounds between Team Executions Mark Coates vs Team Wolfpack Diego Valverde. Both Fighters came out aggressive, But it was Mark Coates taking control towards the end of round 1 by droping Valverde with a right hand before taking his back and applying the Rear Naked Choke. Mark Coates is the new 135 pound champion.
Knockout of the night went to Sik Jitsu's Daniel Spitz
Submission of the night went to Danny Dahl with a slick Arm Triangle Choke
Fight of the night was put on by two 16 year old kids who went to war! Team Executions Bryce Wyatt and Sik Jitsu's Jared Rivera ending in a TKO win for Bryce Wyatt at the end of round 2.
