Rumble on the Ridge VI "Final Conflict" - November 21st, 2009

Joe Derobbio and Punch Drunk Promotions threw the final Rumble on the Ridge for 2009 last night, their 6th fight event this year at the Snoqualmie Casino.  Bob Sapp, Maurice Smith, and Ivan Salaverry were all on hand checking out the action of Rumble on the Ridge VI "Final Conflict", which featured 12 bouts, 10 amateur & 2 pro and was once again announced by KISW's Double R.

 

In the first pro bout at 140 pounds, Ian "The Barn Owl" Loveland out of Team Quest returned to the cage with a vengeance by knocking out Chanti Johnson from the White Buffalo Warriors in 32 seconds.

 

Pro Heavyweights Mike Hayes (White Buffalo Warriors) and Fabiano Scherner (Team Quest) battled it out in the main event, trading kicks and punches in the first. Scherner got Hayes down one time but wasn't able to capitalize. Hayes showed plenty of patience and eventually got the knockout blow at 3:50 of Rd 2.


Rumble On The Ridge VII is scheduled for January 9th.
