Nuro Turns Pro, First Ever Exhibition Bout with Nate "The Rock" Quarry on April 18th

Portland, OR - On Saturday, April 18th the FCFF will make history at Rumble @ The Roseland 81. In addition to a 170-pound Pro fight featuring Bryan Nuro, the FCFF will host its first-ever Exhibition Bout. Nate "The Rock" Quarry (a retired mma international all star) will return to fight Jacob Beckmann, a local fighter with downs syndrome. Plus, two FCFF Championship Fights will take place and a highly anticipated 145lb Superfight will end the night as the Main Event. About the Pro & Title Fights scheduled for April 18th:
Pro Fight: Bryan Nuro (Impact JJ) Vs. Hamilton Ash (SBGi)
On Saturday, April 18th Bryan Nuro will have the biggest fight of his career thus far - his first pro fight. As an amateur, he was undefeated at 8-0 and earned four Championship Titles. Everything changes for him at "Rumble @ The Roseland 81" as he steps into the cage against Hamilton Ash as a pro as the Main Event.


Exhibition Bout: Nate "The Rock" Quarry Vs. Jake "The Snake" Beckmann
In the FCFF's first-ever Exhibition Bout two remarkable men will face-off in a showcase of all skills and abilities. First, fight fans will get the opportunity to see Nate "The Rock" Quarry step into the cage again. As a retired pro fighter, Quarry is well known for his role in the hit show, "The Ultimate Fighter" where he became the first contestant to get a UFC Title Shot. Jake "The Snake" Beckmann is from the gym Walker MA and has one dream, to fight in the Slammer. Down Syndrome has not slowed him down, he's trained for four years at Walker MA and he's ready for this bout.



125LB Title Fight: Steve Lantry (Team Chaos) Vs. Isash Garza
Steve Lantry, the FCFF's 125LB Champion will attempt to defend his Title against Isaiah Garza at Rumble 81. Lantry had a great year in 2014 and hopes to continue it. In 2014 he fought five times, earning three titles. He first beat BJ Sannicolas for the belt at the Knucklehead 9 event via a round one triangle choke. Then, he faced Chris Pejakovich at Knucklehead 10 to defend his Title and won via judges decision. Finally, at Rumble @ The Roseland 70 in December he earned the FCFF's Championship belt in a rematch over Pejakovich.


145LB Title Fight: Kevin Boehm Vs. Dave Robison (Gladiator MMA)
On Saturday, April 18th the FCFF's vacant 145LB Title will be up for grabs. Kevin Boehm has three exciting wins on his resume; two round one submissions and one round three TKO. All Boehm's wins has come outside FCFF competition. In his debut into the FCFF he will face Dave Robison. This fight has the potential to become fight of the night.


145LB Superfight: Sean McNulty Vs. Nate Sarate (Rose City Fight Club)
Vancouver's Nate Sarate is looking to extend his undefeated 4-0 record and bring a belt home to Rose City FC. All of Sarate's wins have come inside the slammer at Rumble 56, 57, 75 and 77. He last took on Jesse Sumner in April of 2014 and won via a round two verbal submission. Sarate's competition, Sean McNulty is hungry for a win - his last fight was at Rumble @ The Roseland 78 against Justin True for the Championship. He's looking for an opportunity to prove himself.
