Portland, OR - On Saturday, December 6th the Full Contact Fighting Federation (FCFF) will return to the Roseland Theater to host the 79th installment of "Rumble @ The Roseland," Oregon's first and longest running mixed martial arts (MMA) event. The FCFF, established in 2001 has recently evolved in 2014 to begin hosting professional fights along with match-ups of the top amateurs in the region. In December the FCFF will bring Portland a dynamic fight card with a 170-pound "Main Event" pro fight and three highly-flying Title fights. Past and current Champions return, along with an FCFF hall of famer. The FCFF's 25-foot steel cage known as "the slammer" will be rumbling. Tickets available at Safeway Tickets West. The 170-pound "Main Event" Professional Fight:
On Saturday, December 6th the FCFF welcomes back one of its former, action-packed amateur Champions: Ben Egli. This time he enters the cage at Rumble @ The Roseland 79 as a pro in the 170-pound welterweight “Main Event." Egli, the FCFF’s former welterweight Champion looks to extend his 3-0 professional record that kicked off last year at “Cage Warrior Combat” with a round one win over Raven Guice via a triangle choke submission. Egli was known in the FCFF for exciting fights; he was a member of the 2010 FCFF Fighter Hall of Fame earning the “Best Choke” of the year. His last two amateur wins were against the best in the region: Billy Denney and Jason Novelli. As a new pro, all three of his fights have ended in exciting round one submissions. Most recently, he took on Rod Jaques at “Battle at the Mountain 2” and sealed the win in only three minutes.

Ben Egli’s competition on December 6th is Nathan Wallner, who’s mma resume has a notable time gap, fighting six times before 2009. Wallner is looking to comeback to the sport and has two recent wins under his belt. In his first comeback fight at “SF 29 – All In” he overtook Daniel Price in just one minute and 22 seconds via a Kimura submission. His last fight was at “Battle at the Mountain” at Spirit Mountain Casino. He was determined the winner via judge’s decision after a three round war against Thomas Leisman. Wallner has two other professional fight wins via TKO in his career.

The FCFF 155-pound Title Fight:
Bryan Nuro is the FCFF's undefeated, undisputed Champion and he's coming back to the Slammer for the first time since January of 2014 to face Rueben Heath. He's putting his 7-0 record on the line to regain his FCFF Lightweight Championship Belt. Justin True took over the Title when Nuro was unable to compete at Rumble @ The Roseland 78. Nuro brings a well-round skill set, plus the heart of a Champion to the cage. His seven victories have come from an variety of ways: armbar, knockout, TKO, triangle chokes and via judges decision - he finds a way to win. His competition is coming off two impressive wins, a TKO at Rumble 75 against Tyrell Pless and a KO win at Rumble 74 against Cash Barnes. December 6th will Rueben Heath's first Championship belt attempt. This could easily steal "fight of the night" honors.

The FCFF 170-pound Title Fight:
The FCFF’s Welterweight Championship belt will be up for grabs on December 6th with two impressive and very different fighters hoping for a chance to hold the elusive FCFF Title. Freddie Bailey of Rose City Fight Club will face off against Jordan Melendrez. Bailey recently fought on November 15 and won the "Knucklehead" Welterweight Championship belt. There he faced Chris Evans and won via a final round TKO. Bailey also has three wins in the FCFF with his only loss coming in a title fight match against Sean Baker. Bailey is a well-rounded fighter with wins coming via rear naked choke, TKO due to punches and judge’s decision. Melendrez is looking to extend his 4-0 record, but also take the FCFF’s Championship belt in his first attempt. His impressive undefeated record includes wins against Sean Baker at Battle at the Mountain 2 (round three armbar), Justin McGinnis at Rumble @ The Roseland 78 (decision), a win over George Turneanu at Rumble @ The Roseland 77 (TKO due to punches), and a debut win against Jerry Sano at 915-MMA (armbar).

The FCFF 125-pound Title Fight:
There will be a new FCFF 125-pound Flyweight Champion determined on Saturday, December 6th. Chris Pejakovich will face-off against Steve Lantry in an epic rematch battle. The two first met a few weeks ago, at the Knucklehead event on November 15. Steve Lantry won via a judges decision victory and is looking to prove he's the champion and add an FCFF title belt to his resume. Previously, Lantry holds the Flyweight Championship Title from the May 31st 2014 "Knucklehead 9" event, finishing BJ Sannicolas via a round two triangle choke victory. This will be his second attempt at the illusive FCFF belt.
