The Rumble returns to the Roseland on Saturday, December 15th, for Rumble @ the Roseland XXXII. This will be a night unlike any other in Mixed Martial Arts. The FCFF brings you five Championship title bouts and one Superfight, with 10 more on the undercard. Tickets are going fast so make sure and get yours at TicketWest as soon as possible.
In the Main Event of the evening, for the FCFF Heavyweight Championship, Undefeated Corey Sutton of Impact Jiu-jitsu will face off against Undefeated DJ Linderman of Yreka, California. Sutton, sporting a record of 3 wins and no losses, known for his quick devastating knockouts, comes into this fight after a long layoff. So rust may be an issue. Linderman has a record of 9 wins and no losses and has won championships in two other organizations. Both are looking for the prestigious FCFF Heavyweight Championship to help catapult them to a pro contract.
For the Featherweight Championship, Champion Brien Garber of Oregon Jiu-jitsu finally returns to defend his belt against Jess Moore of UIMA. Both of these fighters like to push the action and finish opponents quickly. The skill level of these two fighters is very high and this has the potential to be the "fight of the night".
In the Bantamweight Championship, Champion Taylor McCorriston of Antioch, California looks to defend his title for the first time as he faces off against the always dangerous Toshi Mori of Straight Blast Gym. In each fight Toshi's hands have improved greatly and he will be looking to use those hands to try and score a knockout if he can keep the fight standing. Taylor is a Junior College Wrestling All-American and he has no intentions of throwing blows on his feet with Toshi. This could come down to who sticks to their game plan better to decide who leaves with the belt.
In the Welterweight Division, Undefeated and Undisputed Champion Alex Reher will defend his belt once again; this time versus undefeated Sean Siefke. Siefke has switched fight teams once again, this time teaming up with "The Shack" out of Canby, Oregon. This will for sure be Alex Reher's toughest test to date but the question remains if Siefke's change to yet another fight team will help or hurt him come bell time.
Fighting for the first ever FCFF Super Heavyweight Championship, will be current FCFF Heavyweight Champion the undefeated Derick Russell (who has relinquished his belt due to new weight requirements) as he will take on the undefeated Daniel Stewart. Stewart will rely heavily on his wrestling skills to try and get Russell down and end the fight quickly. If Stewart is unable to end the fight quickly it may be a long night for him due to the fact that conditioning has always been a concern.
In a match-up that is still pending, Daniel Krug of Impact Jiu-jitsu will fight Trona Free of Downing Gym in the FCFF Superfight of the night. Trona, was scheduled to fight Tom Matijacic for the Light Heavyweight Championship but that had to be put on hold due to an injury to Matijacic. If Trona Free accepts this fight against Daniel Krug, we will have to call out the fire trucks because there will be fireworks!
