Nathan Thompson and Jeff Coleman throw down in the main event
Bart Smith's Northwest Fighting marked their 10th Young Guns Pro/Am event on December 14th with an evening of 10 amateur and 1 pro MMA bouts. In the main event, Warrior Camp's Nathan Thompson and SOBMMA's Jeff Coleman battled in a pro 145 lb matchup with Thompson coming out on top via unanimous decision.
Fight of the Night belonged to Legacy MMA's Jean Paul Hegbloom and BJJ Spokane's Cleo Anderson who went all five rounds for the Northwest Fighting 185 lb Amateur Title. In the end, two of the three judges saw the back and forth standup war going to Hegbloom who took home the belt via split decision.
Submission of the Night went to Travis Wickline for his Side Choke of Jason Walsh at 1:04 of the first round. Torin Anderson got KO of the Night honors by finishing Kevin Schernitzki midway through the first round.
