IFL World Team Championship Competition To Air Throughout November

NEW YORK, November 9, 2006 -
International Fight League (IFL) broadcast partners

Fox Sports Net and Rogers Sportsnet will resume coverage of IFL World Team Championship

action in the United States and Canada, respectively, with broadcasts this weekend.

FSN's coverage will begin on Sunday, Nov. 12, with the final quarterfinal matchup between

the Razorclaws and Dragons, followed on the next two consecutive Sundays with semifinal action, while Rogers Sportsnet will air four shows during the month, encompassing

three quarterfinal matchups and a special "Superfight" show.

The November FSN airings of the world's first team-based mixed martial arts league

are part of the network's 10 hours of original IFL coverage this fall. The Nov. 19 broadcast

will feature the Dragons (Toronto) vs. Silverbacks (Quad Cities, Iowa/Ill.) semifinal,

and the Nov. 26 show will feature the SF battle between the Anacondas (Los Angeles) and

Wolfpack (Portland). Several Superfights, including the bout between Mark Kerr and

Mike Whitehead will also be shown. The IFL World Team Championship final, pitting

the semifinal winners, will air on FSN during the last week of December.

Rogers Sportsnet will show eight hours of quarterfinal matches, with times and dates

varying across each of its four regional networks. The first run of shows is scheduled

for consecutive Saturdays: Nov. 11, 18 and 25.

"Providing high-quality broadcasts of action-packed IFL competition in the U.S. and Canada

is a priority for the league," said IFL Commissioner and Co-founder Kurt Otto. "Fans will see

these exciting bouts in a fast-paced format which includes behind-the-scenes footage

and interviews with the coaches and athletes."

Total hours on both
FSN and Rogers Sportsnet vary by region, and viewers should check

local listings for the correct time and channel in their area.
