Moe Smith and the House of Fury returned after more than a year's absence, bringing back exciting professional boxing action to the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort. Favio Medina who often headlines these events was not on the card but was in the house and announced a fight coming up at the casino next spring. In the main event of this House of Fury, it was "The Sioux Warrior" Shawn Hawk taking home a controversial split decision win over 34 year old Otis Griffin in a fight that had the crowd split on who won and who lost. Hawk was knocked down in the 7th with a body shot but did enough in two of the judges eyes to win the 10 round fight (97-92, 97-92, 94-99). In the co-main event, 46 year old Billy "Bronco" Wright utilized some nasty sledgehammer body shots to fell Bridger Bercier in the 1st round of their heavyweight contest.
