ESPN2's Friday Night Fights - August 1st Event Info and Fight Card

ESPN Friday Night Fights returns to the Little Creek Casino Resort on Friday, August 1 with a monster 12 fight card being promoted by Goossen Tutor Promotions. The televised main event features a 12 round IBF eliminator bout between undefeated Light Heavyweight Thomas "Top Dog" Williams Jr. (17-0, 12 KOs) taking on former WBA Light Heavyweight World Champion Gabriel "El Chico Guapo" Campillo (23-6-1, 9 KOs). The co-main event will also be televised and will see the return to the ring of former Super Middleweight world title challenger and 2004 Olympian "The Matrix" Andre Dirrell (21-1, 14 KOs). He will face Vladine "Mr. Providence" Biosse (15-4-2, 7 KOs) in a televised 10 round Super Middleweight bout.

10 exciting undercard bouts are also scheduled with plenty of top boxing talent ready to showcase their skills. Renton WA's Marcello Gallardo looks to even the score in a rematch with Featherweight Juan Funez. The pair met at the Little Creek in January of this year with Funez coming out on top after a 4 round brawl. NW fighters Lupe Hudgens and Hector Lopez are also fighting on the card.

The Little Creek Casino is located 15 miles West of Olympia WA, just off Highway 101, at 91 W State Route 108 in Shelton WA. All 12 fights will be held in the casino's Skookum Creek Event Center, with the doors opening at 4 PM PT and the first bout at 5 PM. The televised portion of the event will air live around the world on ESPN2, ESPN Deportes+, & WatchESPN, starting at 6 PM PT. This is a 21 and over event.
