Emerald Queen Casino & Brian Halquist Productions presented CageSport MMA on Saturday February 20th with 10 Professional MMA bouts taking place in the cage in front of a raucous sold-out crowd.

The Main Event for the CageSport MMA Lightweight Title featured Missoula's Dogpound Fighter Lloyd Woodard taking on Mike Hanks representing Spokane's Sikjitsu Gym and the Fancy Pants Fight Team. A true back and forth battle with Woodard getting rocked first. Hanks pounced but was unable to finish. In the third, Woodard rocked Hanks, went in for the finish and the referee jumped in and stopped the fight. Some thought it was a bit premature but at any rate both fighters put on a show for the crowd and NW Fight fans should be on the lookout for both of these rising prospects.

In the co-main event, NW Elite's Tyson Johnson gets the win via Gullotine Choke over Lee Morrison and remains undefeated as a pro but sacrifices another tooth for his victory.

Sarah D'Alelio, in her pro debut, made quick work of her opponent Sarah Oriza by standing Guillotine early in the first. Keep your eyes out for D'Alelio, she is here to stay!

Fans in attendance witnessed in what must rank up there as the fastest back to back fights in MMA history. The first was a 9 second guillotine choke of Darrell Fenner courtesy of Sikjitsu's Dave Courchaine. This was followed by a brutal 7 second knock out of George Stork by Carmen Cassella. Following the bout, Casella admitted "I just wanted to beat Dave's time."

The next CageSport MMA show - the Northwest's only All-Pro event - is scheduled for May 15th at the Emerald Queen Casino. Halquist Productions also holds the long running Battle at the Boat pro boxing series at the Emerald Queen as well.
