UFC Ultimate Fighter Star Len Bentley Headlines CageSport XVII

TACOMA, WA - Two of the Pacific Northwest's favorite MMA fighters headline the 17th installment of CageSport MMA this Saturday night at Emerald Queen Casino's I-5 Showroom. Len "The Liger" Bentley (9-4-0, 8 KO's) a star of the Ultimate Fighter television series will face Spokane's Carmen Cassella (5-9-0, 3 KO's) in the main event.
Strikeforce veteran Sterling Ford fights Springfield, Oregon's Darrell Fenner (4-5-0, 2 KO's) in the semi-main event.

"Len and Sterling are certainly two of the premiere fighters in the Northwest and we couldn't be happier having them both on CageSport XVII" said promoter Brian Halquist. "Len is just coming off the Ultimate Fighter TV show so his popularity is through the roof. Sterling has fought for Strikeforce and to have both of these guys fight on our show is going to be great for the Northwest MMA fans. CageSport XVII is stacked from top to bottom," Halquist stated.
Tacoma's own, Wes Golden (4-1-0, 1 KO) faces Jerome Jones (2-1-0, 1 KO). Another Northwest Favorite Omar Avelar (3-2-0) is paired against John Maryanski (3-2-0, 2 KO's). Undefeated Yakima fighter Julian Erosa (4-0-0, 3 KO's) puts his unblemished mark on the line against Matt Coble (4-5-0, 1 KO's). Erosa has fought all four of his pro fights on CageSport shows. Four fighters will have their professional debuts on CageSport XVII. Corey VomBaur (debut) faces Jimmy Wood (0-3-0), Saman Rastegar (debut) faces Ryan Mulvihill (2-3-0) and Austin Springer (debut) goes against Chaba Rastegar (debut). Rounding out the 10 bout card is Juan Carlos Rodrigues (0-2-0) vs. Harrison Bevens (2-0-0) and Sean Villalva (1-0-0) vs. Christian Ortiz (1-2-0).
The first fight on the 10-bout card will begin at 7 p.m. Weigh-ins for the show will be held Fri, Dec 2nd at 7 PM in the Baymont Hotel (5800 Pacific Hwy So. Fife, WA 98424), in the meeting room and are open to the public.
