BodogFight: USA vs Russia Weigh-ins - December 1st, 2006 Pan Pacific Hotel - Vancouver, British Columbia Photos and Interviews by Mike Renouard The weigh-ins for BodogFight's first pay-per-view event took place today in the beautiful Pan Pacific Hotel in downtown Vancouver, Canada. This was a lively event with 26 athletes stepping onto the scales and then facing each other toe-to-toe for the multitude of cameras on hand.
After the weigh-ins, NW FightScene was able to sit down and talk with 3 of the fighters who have ties to the Northwest.
Aaron Riley, who used to live in Seattle and now trains in Florida with American Top Team, talks about his fight with Eddie Alvarez and more HERE.
Full Contact Fighting Federation Promoter and Team Quest member, Chael Sonnen, gives his views on his fight with Alexei Olyinek, Bodog, the FCFF, and the exploding NW MMA Scene HERE.
Tara LaRosa, who now trains in Yakima with Team Guerin talks about her reasons for moving to the NW, her family's reaction to her success, and rates the international and local Female MMA scene.
