On Saturday, March 26th Battlefield Fight League held their biggest show to date, with an evening of 3 amateur and 13 professional MMA contests. The main event was to feature UFC & PRIDE vet Denis Kang going up against UFC vet Jesse Taylor in a fight at 185 lbs, but Kang had to pull out due to injury and Clay Davidson stepped up to take on Taylor at 205 lbs. In the end, Taylor's experience was too much for Davidson and he cruised to a unanimous decision win.

Bastien Huveneers and Mike Hackert were set to meet in the co-main event, but Hackert came in 11 pounds over and the bout was cancelled. So it was Sikjitsu's Roy Bradshaw taking on local fighter Graham Spencer for the co-main event. Unfortunately, in the 2nd round, Spencer charged Bradshaw and the pair hit the cage right where the door was, the pin popped out due to the force of impact, and both went through, landing hard on the floor next to the cage. The fight was immediately waved off by the referee, and although both fighters were unhurt and wanted to continue, it goes into the books as a no contest.

Battlefield Fight League will hold their next show May 28th and again have Denis Kang and Jesse Taylor scheduled for the main event. More at battlefieldfl.com.
